Note: at some point, I would like to include a demonstration sound
file here.
Sound files may be included for the visually impaired, allowing them to be
included in uses of the world wide web. Two potential problems with this
method.
- Sound files are currently very, very large. Unless baud rates increase
significantly soon, special attention should go into reducing the size of
sound (voice) files.
- As far as I know, at the time this was written, there was no browser
capable of adapting to the visually impaired. Hence, even though sound
files maybe included, there is no way to let them know to what area they
should move the mouse to get this information.
However, in spite of that, many peole may still learn better auditorily.
