How instruction is user friendly on the World
Wide Web
- The Web is platform independent. Browsers run on Mac, Unix, Windows,
Windows 95, and others.
The User can choose the font size, and colors (for the most part).
For most browsers the layout adjusts to the size you choose to have
your window open in.
The system has the ability to tell what type of computer/browser
you are using, and the programmer can create specific layouts only to be
seen by those people.
With Java, javascripts, CGI and Tcl, the software becomes interactive
and provides abilities found nowhere else.
Hypertext format allows lessons to be structured and linked in new,
insightful and creative ways.
